What a great day at Wickenburg CountryClub. We joined my big brother Jim and Denise who were celebrating their 52 wedding anniversary in Wickenburg. Thanks to Jeff and his team for an awesome day. Overlooked by well known Wickenburg Ranch and Social Club and Los Caballeros, this 6400 yard track is one tough track to score on. Low handicap players expecting to do well are met with several blind tee shots, small landing areas and super tight fairways. Greens are fast and two tiered. Knowledge is paramount picking the correct yardage and knowing where pin is located. The clubhouse welcomes all players with daily specials. If you want a challenge to sharpen your game. Great time as always in Daytona Beach after the PGA SHOW. The 24 hours of Daytona was in full swing. Weather warmed for relaxing stroll on the beach. The Rose Villa in Ormond Beach is a must stop dinner favorite. We enjoyed our last day with a round at Halifax Plantation and went to Top of Daytona with 360 degree views of Beach and Halifax River.
