The 70 degree day was so lovely, until the winds got up and made this floral fantasy into a rose with thorns. The flowers were in full bloom with holiday spirit in the air. WE-KO-PA Cholla is a special treat on a sunny day. Daisy the coyote was sunning herself on the hill by the driving range as her friends romped through the course with roadrunners and quail. Lewis is one of the most efficient and informative starters in the industry. When complimented, he said "we just try to be the best." And they are, from the parking lot hello to thank you, see you soon. The first hole of Scott Miller's design looks intimidating but is very rewarding if you take the straight line across the vast desert and walk off with par or birdie. Every hole that follows is visually stunning with the surrounding McDowell mountains, Pinnacle and Four Peaks. We have so many memories of playing with friends at WE-KO-PA through the years.
