Fairways were tight but fair. Cool morning around 38 degrees kept our pace brisk. We played the full 18 in two hours. Rolling stone gathers no moss. Ha Ha . Golf architect John Fought was in the house, revealing the completion of his renovation of the Players Course, already ranked high on the annual best lists in the country. Nice to start with liquid nitrogen frozen margaritas. Kestral, A Richard Blais Kitchen + Lounge at Indian Wells Golf Resort was the venue serving filet mignon, seafood, french caviar and more delicacies. Every morsel is fantastic. Fabulous mountain views remain the same. Troon was well represented by GM Robin Graf, and more VPs galore including Kris Strauss and William O'Brian.
